Peter O’Connell

Peter has over 25 years of Financial Services experience largely in the Institutional Banking segment within both Westpac Banking Group and JPMorgan. Peter’s career has specialised in the financial services sector with significant experience in relationship management and credit/industry analysis across the Wealth, Superannuation and Asset Management Sectors enhanced by senior product and strategy roles in Global Transactional Banking, Treasury Management and Investment Platforms. Peter has been involved in Westpac’s Brothers & Sisters Employee Action group since 2012 and currently leads the BT Brothers & Sisters committee in addition to sitting on both the Victorian and National Brothers and Sisters committees. Peter was also involved in the Indigenous Superannuation Summit in 2015. Outside of banking Peter has extensive Corporate Advisory, Board, Responsible Manager and Compliance Committee experience with a number of emerging domestic and regional asset managers and AFSL holders as well as a number of community/sporting organisations.Peter is currently Chairman at Johns Lyng Group.
