Are you a First Nations artist looking for professional tips around the physical creation of your artworks?

Join Mark Chapman from Chapman & Bailey in a free online conversation about getting next-level with your art production.  Mark will discuss the pros and cons of different materials and mediums; how to make the most of your skills and ideas through the best use of media; expectations of curators and buyers; and tricks of the trade to up your professionalism.

He will also answer any questions about materials, mediums, conservation, packaging, display and framing.

As Director and founder of Chapman & Bailey Artist Services Mark Chapman has 28 experience in techniques, materials, curating, installing, displaying and framing visual artworks. Mark has for many years given training and workshops in remote Indigenous community art centres enabling enhanced professional practices for artists, arts worker’s and art centre managers. He has is a Post Grad graduate from VCA (1982).

This session via Zoom is the first in a series of Professional Development workshops which will also include framing, canvas stretching and preparing your work for the next Koorie Art Show.  Future sessions aim to be in-person.
