Mr Beaky Book Launch

Families are invited to celebrate the launch of the new children’s book An Important Message from Mr Beaky by Cassie Leatham and Sue Lawson.

Join us with Cassie, Sue and Mr Beaky himself for an afternoon of sharing, creating and learning.

Children will be able to take part in an easy, fun craft activity with guidance by Cassie, hear a book reading by Cassie and Mr Beaky … and have the opportunity to buy the book and have it signed by Cassie!

The workshop is free, but bookings are required.

All materials will be provided, plus light refreshments.

All ages welcome

Cassie Leatham is from the Taungurung people from the Kulin Nation. She is an Indigenous artist, master weaver, traditional dancer, bushtukka woman and educator. She is extremely passionate about teaching her skills to both Indigenous and non-Indigenous students of all ages.
