We are leaders in Building Aboriginal Cultural Competency (BACC) through our cultural awareness workshops. In 2024, we are offering 13 half-day (9.30 am – 1.30 pm) BACC online training sessions specifically designed for individuals and small groups. These are standalone individual online training sessions.

The dates for our 2024 training sessions are listed below; including sessions during National Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week 2024.

Our facilitators are experts in the field and deliver the workshop based around experiential/participatory learning that encourage reflection on participants’ own values, beliefs and behaviour.

The learning outcomes of the training are to:

  • Develop awareness of Aboriginal culture and identity
  • Develop awareness of the strengths of Aboriginal culture and people
  • Assist in making the connection and understanding the impact of colonisation and past policy for Aboriginal people today
  • Motivate participants in their cultural competency journey
