Baluk is a local Boonwurrung word meaning many or group of people and this reflects the diversity of our artists and their work. Our emerging and established artists hail from all over Australia and their art expressed their identity and cultural heritage in a contemporary context. Baluk Arts encourages community development, youth leadership, participation and interaction, and Indigenous governance through innovative arts practice.
The range of artworks and gifts created by Baluk Artists include clap sticks, carvings of wood, stone and bone, painting, works on paper, natural jewellery, weaving, kelp works, handmade cards, books, scarves, t-towels and sculptures.

Mabu Mabu is a Torres Strait Islander owned and run business with an emphasis on using Islander flavours and Australian Indigenous ingredients. Our range of house-made small-batch sauces, loose-leaf teas, and spices create beautiful dishes that bring people together.
Nornie Bero is the head chef and business owner. Originally from Mer Island in the Torres Strait, Nornie's style of cooking is all about generosity and flavour. She has been creating dishes using native ingredients for much of her career, and is currently on a mission to make Indigenous herbs, spices, vegetables and fruits part of everyone's kitchen pantry.

I am a Melbourne based Wurundjeri/Yorta-Yorta artist offering a variety of items ranging in price and size, including medium to large original pieces and high quality Giclee prints. I also offer handmade emu feather hangings and wooden message sticks, along with a select amount of hand painted wooden gift-wares and hanging Christmas boomerangs. Gift cards are an ideal alternative for those unsure what to get their special someone. I provide a range of these in prices which are easily accessed on my website.

The Koorie Circle is a small Aboriginal owned and led family business that has developed from a desire to create earrings that tell a story and celebrate the culture, history, and identity of Aboriginal Australia. Each earring tells a different story and is made to be worn with pride by everyone, not just Aboriginal people.

I create art to evoke a connection, a conversation and a space to educate. We stock cotton rag prints, canvas prints, adult and children's apparel, greeting cards, protective face masks, stickers and more

We also provide relevant resources and books that assist parents, teachers and organisations to acknowledge and celebrate Aboriginal Ways of Being. All our resources are ethically made and sourced, in collaboration with Indigenous artists and Fair-Trade partners.
Foregrounding Anti-Bias Perspectives is a new series under YSS, where we have available a range of books and resources that make every child feel represented and respected with inclusion as the core. Our resources include bilingual children’s books, all identities’ dolls and cultural fabrics which have been carefully curated with an early childhood teacher ensuring an inclusive range for children, parents and teachers.
