NOW SHOWING – LISTEN TO YOUR ELDERS
‘That’s an old tradition that we’ve all grown up with. Listen to your Elders. Respect your Elders.’ Aunty Iris Lovett Gardiner, Gunditjmara, 2003.
The Listen to your Elders exhibition features oral history recordings collected from the 1980s through to 2016 by the Koorie Heritage Trust. These recordings share experiences and knowledge of our Koorie Elders and explore the very significant role Elders hold in the Victorian Koorie community.
