‘Landmapping Ring’, emu feathers fabric, cotton thread. By Lisa Waup

Join us for a jewellery making workshop with artist and curator Lisa Waup.

Lisa is descended from the Gunditjmara and Torres Strait Islander peoples, as well as having Italian heritage. Lisa mainly works with paper and has developed a distinctive weaving practice. In 2017, Lisa collaborated with Ingrid Verner, a Melbourne based fashion designer.

In this two hour jewellery workshop, you will be using remnant fabric from Lisa’s previous collection to create your own unique one-off designer ring, incorporate found materials from nature and hand stitching with a variety of cottons.

All materials supplied, and no experience needed.
